THE ALCHEMIST CODE Producer's Letter (Aug 2019) [edit | edit source]

Greetings my dearest Alchemists,

How have you been in this busy age of enlightenment? There are many topics that I wish to converse and share with you today so let’s jump into it!

Token of Appreciation

I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude for each and everyone of you for sticking around through thick and thin with us among the various issues. I have prepared a small token of appreciation for all of you with the release of this letter. Read on to find out more!

Magni Historia

The team has been hard at work on the upcoming releases for our Global Original content and we are in the process of putting the finishing touches on our units new and old. We are constantly reviewing all aspects of it to ensure that everything from the story to the battles provide you with a journey you will remember and enjoy! The units you know and love will get Enlightenment and we consider all your feedback seriously to make them all the better for your enjoyment! All of them will get Enlightenment albeit released in batches, so do stay tuned to each of our future Magni Historia releases.

We have more Global Original content in the works so please look forward to them too!

Unit Shard Quest Releases

Since we last talked, we have been hard at work bringing you Hard Quests as soon as we can to help you keep up with your unit enlightenments. We are basing our releases according to the original design of the original design of the Japanese version of THE ALCHEMIST CODE. Below is a schedule that I would like to share with you regarding the release of Unit Shard Quests for your information.

Hard Quests
For normal units: after more than 3 months
For limited units: after more than 6 months
For limited SSM units: available for Limited Periods in specific quests

These are just the general information and there will always be some units that are special and featured outside of Hard Quests.

Veda Tower

We are aware that the Veda Tower is an integral part of THE ALCHEMIST CODE and its absence the past couple of months have left many of you disappointed. There were a multitude of issues affecting many players that we took the time to fix and even more time to ensure that they don’t surface again so your next trip to the Veda Tower will be a smooth and rewarding experience for you.

There will be 5000 Veda Coins and 50 Gold Gear Shards sent to everyone to make up for the time the Tower was closed.

Rewards and Resources

Your feedback regarding attaining Vision Clear Rewards from Mementos have been taken to heart and I am happy to say that we will be opening quests and running more campaigns in the coming days to help speed up your Vision Clear progress! Alchemy Droplets are now a permanent addition along with Gems for Video Ads in your daily milestones.

We have also added featured 5-Star Unit Shards into your Rare Summon pool. Your rates for obtaining 5-Star Units remain unchanged and in addition you will even be able to bag 5-star unit shards. With Unit Enlightenment heating up, these extra shards are sure to come in handy. We have more plans to help you grow your units so stay tuned!

Quest Difficulty and Grind

The feedback from the various challenging content and event quests have been plentiful and we have taken the time to go through them. It has always been a challenge to make THE ALCHEMIST CODE enjoyable for everyone and this is one of those areas that is a continual work for us. Rest assured that we will look into easing the grinding of quests and the difficulty of farming event period items for THE ALCHEMIST CODE as part of our core concerns.

While we cannot reply to all your comments and feedback, they are all read and taken into consideration by our team where important issues will be addressed in future updates or adjustments.

Other Quality of Life Improvements

As part of our latest efforts to improve your experience in Babel, the Login Rewards will be moved into the Events board for your one-stop convenience. Other improvements include a vibration function during multi-play to alert you when it is your move! Waiting time in Arena has been removed as a fixed feature as part of making your life in THE ALCHEMIST CODE better. Let us know what other ways we can improve your experience!

We are always working to resolve issues and improve your experience and your patience and continued support really keeps the team going through hard times. We are giving out 1000 Gems and many other awesome items including elemental shards to everyone with the release of this letter as a small token of our appreciation.

I sincerely hope that we can continue to have many more moments and celebrations to share with everyone!
